JASON CROWLEY AS THE NEXT
CHIEF OF THE WINDSOR POLICE SERVICE

The Windsor Police Service Board (WPSB) is pleased to announce the appointment of
Jason Crowley as the new Chief of the Windsor Police Service.
Chief Crowley is a 32-year veteran of the Windsor Police Service. Serving as Deputy Chief of Operations for the last three years, he brings extensive operational experience, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to community engagement to the position. As part of a strong executive team, he has demonstrated a commitment to fiscal accountability, modernization of the Service, and to the recruitment and promotion of a diverse workforce.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has built collaborative partnerships, implemented innovative policing strategies, and has earned the trust and respect of both colleagues and community members. Having served as an Inspector – Patrol Response, as Superintendent – Investigations, and as an Operational Commander during the Ambassador Bridge blockade, he understands the complex nature and dynamics of policing in a border community.
Chief Crowley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree from the University of Windsor and has completed numerous specialized courses in criminology, police leadership, critical incident command, and senior police administration.
In addition to his professional duties, Chief Crowley serves on the OACP Emergency Preparedness Committee, and the New Beginnings and Drouillard Place Boards of Directors.
