Funding Opportunity – National Crime Prevention Strategy

I am pleased to send you notification of a new funding opportunity through Public Safety Canada in hopes it is of interest to your organization.

National Crime Prevention Strategy Fund

The Government of Canada is accepting applications under its National Crime Prevention Strategy (NCPS) to support projects aiming to prevent or reduce the impact of gangs, violence, bullying and cyberbullying on youth, including on Indigenous and vulnerable populations.

The call for applications will close on July 31, 2018.

  • NCPS provides time-limited funding in the form of grants and contributions.
  • Eligible applicants include: Community or professional organizations, societies and associations which have associated themselves with a not-for-profit purpose, and which have the mandate to represent their membership or community; Provincial, territorial, regional, municipal and local governments; Aboriginal governments, organizations and communities; Provincial, municipal and Aboriginal police services; and Canadian universities, educational institutions/boards of education and Centres of excellence.
